Corporate Roleplay & Forum Theatre

With highly skilled players and specialist tutors there to give expert guidance, Roleplay helps develop staff versatility and offers the perfect platform to integrate your business’s new approach.

Overview:

Do you need your team to understand how behaviours are affecting each other and your clients?

Are there new systems you want to explore in a professionally-managed, staged environment?

Perhaps you’d like to refresh your interview process, ensuring prospective staff match the behavioural culture of your workplace?

With our years of experience, we know that there are many ways that roleplay can benefit your business and we’re happy to look at a very wide range of scenarios that we can operate within.

The RABBLE roleplay will:

  • Design and facilitate bespoke experiences for your team around specific training points
  • Enhance any training that you might already be undertaking
  • Give subjective feedback on the impact of your words, body language and tone during important conversations
  • Help you practice critical conversations

Forum Theatre:

Forum Theatre is closely related to roleplay, in that it explores scenarios in a way that empowers students to rehearse solutions and change the outcome of a scenario for the better. Our actors will perform a piece of theatre around a theme (designed with your input) in such a way as to demonstrate problem behaviours or situations.

The piece will be performed twice – once straight through and once with the audience given permission to “STOP!” the action and suggest a different approach or behaviour in the hopes that the outcome will be altered. It is especially effective for its capacity to help people remove themselves from the situation and think about solutions with the benefit of hindsight, thereby positively impacting future behaviours.

“The team had a great day. By the end of the day I had a number of ideas on how I should change my pitch/presentation style and the session has made me reflect on how I deal with criticism and rejection.”

    Julia Montague

With an eclectic background, from British Airways to a successful acting career and voice coaching, Julia went on to complete her NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) journey from Practitioner level through to becoming an NLP Master Coach. She now coaches individuals and teams, combining this knowledge with other coaching models and her own authentic approach.

Over the last fifteen years, Julia has been using these skills, working with businesses from start-ups through to SMEs and Corporate Organisations, more recently working with senior leadership teams at Barclays Bank, Blue Cross Charity and Cisco. She has worked across a wide variety of sectors including Pharmaceutical, Retail, Finance, Telecom, Manufacturing and within the NHS and Civil Service.

Julia has a persistent energy wrapped up with humility and humour that sees her clients ‘safely shake their worlds’ in a space that is fully supported. Stepping out of the comfort zone, using energy, focus and an ability to ‘play’ and be ‘in the moment’ really sees Julia’s approach to coaching and training come to life.

Julia’s real passion lies in her ability to identify how leaders can be even more effective when it comes to delivering their messages with gravitas and impact. Through finding their voice and empowering them to communicate with confidence and presence, Julia’s clients are therefore able to be their most authentic version of themselves. She is always looking to create a truly memorable and alternative approach in her coaching.
