Flipside

Alternative Provision for the Young Neurodivergent Community

What is Flipside?

In partnership with the award-winning Make/Sense Theatre, our new drama-based alternative provision for the Neurodivergent young community provides structured 2.5-hour, high-quality engagement for those not engaging with the mainstream school curriculum.

Flipside explores wider theatre-making skills such as writing, puppetry, movement, and stage management with an aim to develop self-regulation skills, restore confidence and trust and, ultimately, help young people re-engage in their learning.

Primary school children work towards a Discover Arts Award, whilst Secondary schools work towards a Bronze Level 1 Arts Award – exploring not just arts, but leadership and career skills.

“RABBLE Theatre’s FLIPSIDE programme has had an immense impact on the participants, and has supported young people with complex SEMH needs re-engage with mainstream classrooms. I love seeing their faces when they walk into the hall – they clearly enjoy it and we see the positive effect the sessions have on them throughout the day”
