LAMDA in Schools
RABBLE Theatre provide LAMDA lessons for over 300 school children each week all around Berkshire. If you are interested in LAMDA lessons in your school, please contact us.
Schools:
RABBLE can work with your school to find a timetable that works with your schedule, either after school, during breaks or on a rotating timetable. We can work with your own in-school communication and invoicing systems or can take care of everything in-house, managing all invoicing, enrolments and parent communications. Examinations can either take place in school or at one of our external weekend centres.
We have an extensive team of managers, administration staff and freelance teachers who all work really hard to ensure every child we teach gets the most out of their LAMDA lessons.
When young people embark on their journey with RABBLE LAMDA they are signing up for much more than a drama class. We see LAMDA as a self-improvement programme that teaches children essential life skills in confidence, self-learning and empowerment.
All staff are fully trained theatre practitioners with appropriate DBS checks and safeguarding.
Parents:
You can find the term dates for the individual schools below.
RABBLE have an access fund to ensure our classes are accessible to all. If anyone is going through financial hardship please do contact us as we may be able to help. (See more info below).
If you are an existing student or parent and have a query about LAMDA please e-mail lamda@rabbletheatre.com. (Please note that the beginning of term is a very busy time for the LAMDA administration team so forgive us if it takes us a little longer to get back to you than normal).
“LAMDA has been such an enjoyable and impactful experience for our son. You have really given him so much confidence and helped him find his voice – this year he won the Woodley Festival Joan Ellis memorial trophy for Junior Shakespeare and the Story Telling trophy. He is also ‘assistant stage manager’ for the junior school production.”

RABBLE Access Fund
Want to get involved but don't have the funds?
If you are thinking I’d love to experience that, but you need help with some or all of the fees, then why not apply to the RABBLE Access Fund? The aim of the Access Fund is to make sure that everyone can access our work. You may want to send your child to our Saturday School, or you yourself might fancy a term of Get Up On Stage. Perhaps you want your community group or school to come to a production. Whatever it is, you can apply to us and we’ll see if we can help. You can apply for 50% of 100% of the cost of your ticket(s)/fees.
To apply, either send us a video or write us an email, explaining who you are, why you want to attend and a little about your situation. Don’t worry, all your information is completely confidential and the benefactors are never revealed (unless they really want to be).
If you are interested in applying to the fund for all or part of your fees, please state so on your enrolment form. There is no cash equivalent.
“My entire education – school, a year abroad, university and drama school – was funded through bursaries, so it feels pretty amazing to now be involved in a charity that’s enabling others to gain skills and get more involved with the community.” Toby Davies, RABBLE Theatre’s Artistic Director
“My daughter has gained such confidence from attending your classes. Thank you so much, she is like a different person”
