Minster of St Mary The Virgin Church

Written by: William Shakespeare

Shakespeare’s fierce thriller is reimagined with raw power by RBL, in a production where women come to the fore.

RBL make a bold return to breathing life into Shakespeare’s works and welcome you back into the stunning Minster church in central Reading.

Haunting imagery, thrilling fight sequences and chilling original music. Inspired by Killing Eve, and the tone of many a modern horror movie, this Macbeth will be one you won’t want to miss.

Reimagined and directed by RBL’s associate director, Hal Chambers (Conquerer’s Trilogy), Composed by Harry Smith (AKA drum and bass ‘DJ Demigroove’) and designed by Emily Leanord (Henry V, Barn Theatre Cirencester). Featuring a hugely experienced acting company, led by Jessica Baglow (BBC’s Gentleman Jack, Shakespeare’s Globe).
