Due to COVID-safe working we will open GUOS 10 minutes before the start time 7pm. We are unable to facilitate a social gathering either before or after classes whilst restrictions are in place.
Pre-show interval and drinks
BYO. Comfort breaks or intervals will be scheduled to allow you to enjoy a snack and a drink.
RABBLE’s classes are socially distanced whilst restrictions are in place. Masks are not mandatory but you may notice Hexagon staff wearing masks and you are of course, welcome to use one.
We will provide hand sanitiser throughout the session.
Please be aware of keeping your distance at pinch points such as entering and exiting the building.
We will not be taking temperatures for classes but we do ask that if you feel unwell with a high temperature or a new, continuous cough please do not attend GUOS and follow the NHS guidance about coronavirus (COVID-19), including symptoms, testing, vaccination and self-isolation.
You are welcome to bring a drink and a snack, a pen and paper can also be useful but please keep personal items to a minimum.
Please arrive at the Stage Door of The Hexagon, where you’ll be met by one of the GUOS team. We’ll then guide you to where you’ll be spending the evening.
On Foot: if you’re walking and approaching from Reading Minster or the Penta Hotel, please leave time to get down the steps, (to the left of the main entrance) as we all need to enter through the stage door.
For drivers: as you drive down the slope from Sweeney Todds Pie Shop/The IDR/Police Station, veer left (not into the Broad Street Mall parking) and you’ll see the floor level pedestrian entrance, then stage door. Parking is available outside the stage door for GUOS students only.
